    Fabulous

It was great to be picked up at the Port (and taken to the airport) and the owners pointed out sights and public transport on the way back to the hotel, which was very helpful. The hotel grounds were lovely and typically greek isles, especially the pool area and the rooms were spacious and clean.

Had trouble with the wi-fi - which can only be accessed from around the pool. Even though it is only 400m from the town, the hill up to the hotel is a killer and not for the unfit!

    Fabulous

It is a small hotel.. lots of friendly people around.. and of course the amaizing Giorgio.. I had amaizing time and hopefully visit it many more times.. You will find the best cocktails in town.. and the friendliest face making it.. :)

We are a family of 4 with teenagers 13 and 17, we loved the Sofia village, it was very relaxing by the pool, which was spotless. When we arrived (July 2011) their was a strong wind which was expected to last for a week, so we stayed by the pool, as we did not want to be sand blasted on the beaches. George who looks after the bar and most other things, was great, cool, calm and collect, but very efficient when asked to do anything. It's owned by Sofia, who was nice and helpfull and Panos her son picked us up from the port, which was unexpected and dropped us back to the port a few days later, which was nice also. (He would not take a tip), which was also suprising. The Sofia village was really comfortable and close to the town, which only took minutes to get to, down a hill with steps, kids raced up the steps no problem, us parents took a bit longer!!. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

    Good

The quadruple room we stayed in was the largest of such rooms we experienced in Greece so far. However, the location was a bit inconvenient in that it is located up a hill and although it takes about 5-10 minutes to walk down, it takes longer to walk back up as it is quite steep and the walk is uncomfortable when it is blazing hot in the summer. Unfortunately, most of the restaurants are located at the bottom of the hill and only 1 or 2 are up the hill but seem to be on the expensive side. The pool area is nice and there are a lot of young people in early 20s so this place would appeal to that market more so than families.

The location is not great when you have to walk uphill every time you return from town. It's too uncomfortable in the height of summer to be climbing a steep hill just to return from getting something to eat. You always have the option of ordering food from the hotel, which I didn't try, but it is a bit limiting. It would be more peaceful if there was not music played constantly at the pool, however, this seems to be a young adults place to stay. I would only recommend this place if I knew the person travelling fit into this market. I definitely would steer someone away if they're older.

Everything was great. Sofia, the owner, treated us very well. Lifts to and from the airport...coffee and cake in the morning. A wonferful women. The view from the pool was superb...At we must mention George in the bar..he was so friendly and helpful.

Its true there is a steep walk back from the town but nothing too bad.....we liked the exercise....

Sofia Villlage was a great choice for our trip to Mykonos. George, Sofia and all the staff are superb, the location is perfect (walking distance to downtown Mykonos). The room was also very nice with a sea view and a very cozy balcony. We just loved it and certainly recommend. Totally worth staying.

Our second year at Sofia Village was just perfect (as the previous stay). we asked for the same room and the kindly gave it to us. Sofia (the owner) and Giorgos (the pool bar guy) were really nice and helpful. the cleaning service great.

    Fabulous

Very friendly staff (Sofia and George were brilliant!), comfortable, clean room, and excellent value for money.

The climb up the steep hill from Mykonos Town was a bit of a killer but apart from that it would be difficult to find fault with anything else.

    Superb

Nice rooms, nice views. You get a lift from/to the port or airport. The pool area is really nice too. Would recommend it to anyone.

A great option to party at Mykonos and when tired to enjoy drinks and cocktails from George at the pool/bar. The guys are very helpful and always with a smile.

Met off the ferry by the owner which we weren't expecting. Lovely hotel rooms all on one level and spaced out around the central pool and bar area give it the feel of a tiny village in itself. Grat pool area with loungers etc. Lovely big triple room given although we only booked a double. Fridge didn't work but was replaced straight away. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Sophia even greeted us with homemade cake! If you don't wan't to walk back up the hill to hotel taxi very cheap, only 3 or 4 euro. Stayed here before and will again.

It is a little out of town but easy to walk to if you don't mind a hill. Advertise breakfast but no sign of any on any morning. Couple of breakfast places just down the road though. They should have a simple bread and jam and coffee on offer to help yourself to.

    Very good

The swimming pool is very nice and the owner of the hotel is very friendly. My boat was suddenly postponed one day later, I called and asked if my reservation can postpone one day later without additional charge (since the Booked.net policy require one day room rate payment if you don't check in on time), They said ok and asked when will be my boat arrive so he can pick me up in the port! The room is very comfort and you can see that the room is recently renewed, the bathroom facilities are all new-equipped and is decorated with blue and white colour which is very beautiful.

The hotel is very far away from the town..you need to walk around 20-30 minutes "up hills" and it is very easy to get lost (properly because of the town design, not the hotel.)

The friendliness of all the staff was above even the Greek high standards.
